An absent manager in an offline auction draft usually means someone else bidding for them, which is stressful and invites a conflict of interest.
Instead the absent manager sets up rankings, aggressiveness and a strategy such as RB heavy. A code is shared with the league, and a virtual agent drafts their team from those instructions.
